Set of pentagrams over one another to be read at the same time and comprising parts to be executed simultaneously by more players (e.g., in music for piano and organ, in partitions for chant and piano, in scores). Graphically, the system is marked with a vertical sign at the left of pentagrams. Should you want to highlight groups of instruments belonging to the same family or voices, then you set a more marked segment at the left of the system tract. The system can be simple, double or triple.   |
